7 Years After Arthur, A New Bridge For Mullins River
Mon, December 15, 2014
The Mullins River Bridge will finally be reconstructed and designed after the devastation that Tropical Storm Arthur brought in 2008. Arthur caused over $77 million dollars in damage in Belize and efforts to recover that loss continues with the Mullins River Bridge project. The cost of the design and construction is 4.4 million dollars.

In 12 months residents should have a brand new bridge. Additional contracts were also signed including the rehabilitation of the Dangriga Multipurpose Sporting Facility. This 3 million dollar project will equip the facility with locker rooms, public restrooms, concessions and a stage.
