Three weeks ago 28 year old Hattieville resident Eugene Pitts was mysteriously shot from behind at a party. The shotgun blast riddled his midsection with pellets and ruptured a number of internal organs. Just after 7 last night, after weeks in the hospital, he died from a heart attack. Police have still made no arrests and do not know what the motive of the shooting was. Pitts was a student of the University of Belize and was pursuing his bachelor's degree in nursing. |
