18 year old Otto Palma committed suicide in the Ladyville police station around 6:00 this evening.

He was pending charges for rape. Police caught him after he allegedly raped a female behind Vista Del MAr.

He was arrest don Sunday, released on Monday pending medical exams, and then re-arrested this morning. This evening at 6:00 he was found hanging by a t shirt in the jail cell.

He had been charged and remanded for rape before. His body was still in the holding cell at the station at news time.
