SMART Helps Feeding Program

For the past 15 years the Ebenezer Methodist Primary School has been running a feeding program for its needy students. That program grew out of the premise that hungry children are unable to learn. Recently, however, the managers of the program have had to go shopping around for donors to keep it properly financed.

When they were recently approached for assistance, Speednet Communications made the decision to support the feeding program by donating $1,500 quarterly for the next year. That first cheque was handed over today, and 7News was there. We asked the coordinators how the money will be put to use:
