70 thousand! That's how many mature marijuana plants the BDF destroyed in a plantation last week Friday. Working along with the police, BDF found the plantation 11 kilometers south of Arenal Village – which straddles the western border near Benque Viejo. The BDF says the plants varied in length from one foot to four feet tall, and they also found forty pounds of marijuana seeds. The seeds and all the plants were uprooted, and destroyed by fire.
