2 months ago, we told you about how the Bishop Martin High school in Orange Walk brought home third place in the regionals of the Sagicor Visionary Challenge.

They developed a research program on Chaya, and that took them to the finals of the competition 2 years in a row. Today, Sagicor Life Inc. started the 3rd Annual competition by holding a workshop for the teachers in Belize. This session took place at the Biltmore Plaza hotel, and it gave us a chance to meet the winners from Bishop Martin. We took the opportunity to speak with the winners about the high-level science tour they got in the US as an award for their innovative science project. Here's what they told us:
