There was a shooting just after 5:00 today in Belize City. It happened on Cran Street near Douglas Jones. An area resident told us that a man was walking past a white van that was parking. After walking past, he started firing at the van. The van sped off toward Mapp Street, with the shooter running behind. Six shots were heard but no one was hurt.
