| Belize and Chetumal: Sister Cities |

Belizeans already spend millions of dollars in Chetumal every year, and now the city of Belize and the city of Chetumal have formed sister city relations. On Tuesday, Mayor Darrell Bradley travelled to Chetumal to sign a document with the mayor of that city, Eduardo Espinosa making it official. According to a release, the agreement establishes "a mechanism to strengthen ties between the two cities and programs of cultural, economic, tourist and academic exchange."
They signed the document at the Fort of the Fishermen.
