A Conference On Climate

Today at the George Price Center in Belmopan, the National Met Service held its National Climate Outlook Forum.

The idea is to speak with stakeholders, in sectors such as agriculture and tourism, about the Met Service's seasonal outlook - with a focus on the rainy season which runs from June to November.

Adrian Trotman, the Chief of Applied Meteorology and Climatology for the Caribbean Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology participated. We spoke to him and the Deputy Chief of the Belize Meteorology Department about their seasonal outlook and the purpose for sharing this information in stakeholder consultations:.

The stake holder's conference today included representatives from sectors like agriculture, water, energy, health, and disaster management.
