Will Bradley Ride Faber’s Coattails
Wed, June 8, 2016

But Bradley has his political loyalty tied firmly to Patrick Faber. So If Faber ascends to party leadership – will Bradley hang in there for another go at Caribbean shores. He lost in 2015, but might 2020 be better for him?  Here’s what he said:..

Darrell Bradley, Belize City Mayor
"Well I mean of course if somebody loses an election, I lost in Caribbean Shores we have to do an assessment in relation to the possibility if you can win again; there is going to be redistricting, there are going to be other issues and so forth, There's a lot of considerations. I like municipal government, there is municipal election which will be upcoming so that 4 years is afar year going forward in future. Of course in the next 2 weeks I'm going to have a daughter so that family considerations are paramount to me like wise; all of those issues are things that we have to consider and take into account aside from a decision in relation to politics and again 4 years is long into the future."

Emanuel Pech
"But do you think it is a possibility? Considering that Mr. Faber is now the deputy; and he will more than likely might be the leader as well."

Darrell Bradley, Belize City Mayor
"It is a possibility. I think that the Hon. Faber brings a lot of experience and leadership and he's somebody who I would want to work with so that if I can offer myself for electoral office going forward into the future that's something that I'm prepared to consider and to do. I did it once, I think we've made a difference in city hall, I think that we can make a difference again. I would want to be a member of the House of Representatives, I think that I could contribute to the national dialogue and how politics operate in this country and I think that the election of Patrick Faber is a good move in terms of moving the party in the right direction."
