Northern Regional Health Manager Audibaldo Monima continues to take a hammering for his lack of qualification.  The PUP’s Northern Caucus today sent out a release saying, quote, Â Ã¢â‚¬Å“His appointment not only defies the Public Service regulations but..also (disrespects) every qualified Belizean who has…the specialized skills to fill this position…It is unbelievable that the very qualified managers in the Ministry of Health will acquiesce to an irresponsible and evidently political appointment of this sort putting at risk the very health status of an entire region of the country.â€￾

It goes on to say, quote “The PUP Northern Caucus calls on the Minister of Health…to immediately rescind this unconscionable appointment…â€￾
The CEO In the Ministry of Health Ramon Figueroa has told us that Monima – a former Coast Guard officer - is on a six-month trial basis.
