And in the capital city of Belmopan the teachers and parents assembled at the Belmopan Comprehensive School this morning at 8:30. They moved off from there and walked along the ring road. As you can see in the footage we caught up with them as they passed the Catholic Church. The group was 296 strong. After the protest, they stopped off at the May Gordon Park where several teachers gave speeches. Then they all met at the George Price Center at 2:00 to plan their next step. Again, this decision will be taken to the National Council tomorrow for a national decision. |
