Two nights ago we told you about the unauthorized dredging at Gladden Caye Resort. Well today government confirmed that a cease and desist order was sent to them one week ago. The Ministry of Natural Resources is levying fines on them for unauthorized dredging.

The Ministry put out a notice that an Environmental Compliance Plan is not a permit and approvals are still required from the requisite regulatory bodies for permits for various activities under the plan.
