Integrity Commission Accountant Still On Track

At the last senate meeting in November, the opposition was objecting strenuously to the Prime Minister's partisan nominees to the Integrity Commission. Accountant and UDP Trustee Nestor Vasquez came under extra scrutiny because PUP Senator Eamon Courtenay said that he wasn't a member in good standing of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. Courtney tried to bring back a motion to block his appointment at yesterday's house meeting. But the President Li Mark Chang rejected it because a matter which has been voted upon cannot be brought back at the next session.
