Robbery Foiled Before It Happened By Cops’ Sharp Intel.
Mon, January 9, 2017
Belize City Police were able to foil a robbery today after they intercepted a mini-van full of young men. It happened around 2:00 this afternoon when the cops say, the men planned to rob Northern Fishermen's Cooperative - only thing is the Co-op never even knew anything about a robbery. It seems the cops had major advance intelligence and were waiting for the men before they could pull off the robbery. They detained five suspects as well as a taxi driver at the scene, and recovered one 9mm handgun from the taxi. We'll have more on this tomorrow as they are all held pending charges.
