OAS Secretary General Luis Almagro arrived in the country today. He came in at around noon, and zipped to a meeting with the Prime Minister at his Belize City Office. Almagro was accompanied by Special Representative for Belize-Guatemala Affairs Magdalene Talamas, They were joined by Foreign Minister Hon. Wilfred Elrington and Belize's Permanent Representative to the OAS Ambassador Patrick Andrews. Almagro will hold a press briefing tomorrow.
