And while the police department is still reeling from that tragedy that happened right before their eyes, on their own turf, last night the department got another shock when a police officer shot in his home, reportedly with his own Glock pistol. Tonight, police are calling it an accident. They say that 40-year-old Police Corporal Daniel Lawrence attached to Strike Team South, was asleep in his room with his license 9 millimeter pistol under his pillow when it accidentally discharged hitting him in the chest. Lawrence reportedly received a punctured lung, and is admitted to the KHMH in a stable condition.
Now, there are many who just don't buy that story, and some reports suggest that he may have been shot by someone inside his home.
