A body was found floating on the coast of Corozal Town this morning - but police say foul play is not suspected. 43 year old Anthony Pasos of Santa Rita Corozal was found floating in the rough waters of Corozal's Bay, in an area in front of St Francis Xavier Primary School.
Pasos was last seen on Monday morning, before midday. Relatives didn't become alarmed when he didn't come home because he is not known as a trouble maker.
However, they became startled at the news that Pasos' body was discovered in the waters by a resident around six this morning.
Pasos' body was seen with abrasions on his head, but it is suspected that he may have either fallen from the slippery surface near the sea or received injuries from the battering waves this morning.
