Taiwan Waives Visa Requirements

And while the government of Belize is sidling up to the diaspora, the Taiwanese are reading out to its allies in Latin America and the Caribbean. That country's Ministry of Foreign Affairs today announced that citizens of 10 diplomatic allies will no longer need visas to go to Taiwan. So, citizens of Belize, the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Saint Christopher and Nevis, Saint Lucia, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines can stay visa free for up to 30 days:.

Citizens of El Salvador, Haiti, Honduras, and Nicaragua can stay up to 90 days.

Those travelers must have a valid passport, a return ticket, and have no criminal record.

It is effective as of yesterday July 12th.
