| Taiwan Helps Corozal Community |

| We caught the Ambassador at the Corozal Community Hospital where Taiwan, donated about $222,000 US to the Ministry of Health in Corozal. The donation will be used to provide funding to the Ministry's Renal Failure Prevention Project, which has so far trained 137 medical workers in dialysis treatment. This morning Minister of Health Pablo Marin and the Taiwanese Ambassador spoke on the importance of the project..
Some of the money will be used to facilitate a national survey to identify Belizeans at risk of chronic kidney disease.
