Police and Coast Guard Look For Body After Report of Person Thrown Into Sea
Wed, August 23, 2017
Tonight, a police and Coast Guard dive team has broken a search off Belize City's Coast and plan to resume tomorrow. That's after a report was made at about 2:00 pm today that someone had been thrown in the sea. According to reports, two men were driving past Rock Park on Princess Margaret Drive when one of the men reported that he saw someone being pushed off a boat not too far out at sea. The boat then sped off. The pair called police who teamed up with the Coast Guard to form a search team including vessels and two divers, plus one civilian who volunteered.

Coast Guard vessels could be seen going up and down in the vicinity where the person was reportedly thrown overboard. Its a vast area, and up to this evening, the search had not turned up anything.
