Police have taken some more firepower off the streets in San Pedro.
Today at around midday a joint Gang Suppression Unit, Special Patrol Unit, and San Pedro Police operation was conducted in the San Mateo area - which is the island's large slum.
This led to the discovery of a .45 pistol and a .380 pistols along with magazines and nine .380 rounds. No one was present at the time of the find so the items were deposited as found property.
