Southside police continued to keep up the pressure on gang hotspots. This morning at 6:30 members of the Special Assignment Team along with the K9 Unit searched the Mayflower area. They found a plastic bag with 8 live .38 rounds and another bag with about an ounce of weed. No one was in the area so the items were deposited as found property.
