Police Meet And Greet Community, Not Cameras
Wed, November 8, 2017
Last month, there was an explosion of violence in the Jane Usher Boulevard area where 4 residents were killed in gang-related shootings. So, that community on the Belize City Southside is hurting, and tensions remain between gangs that live very close to each other.

So, police today held their meet-and-greet session right there, all in an effort to try and defuse tensions. The police top brass from Eastern Division were on a house-to-house tour to speak with the residents and hear their concerns.

We stopped by to get an interview from officers on the ground, but the media was told that the cops will only talk to the community, not the cameras. Ok then.
