Caught With Cannabis in Caulker
Wed, November 15, 2017
Yesterday afternoon Caye Caulker police conducted a search at the second story flat of 57-year-old Timothy Stapleton and they found 64.8 grams of cannabis on a table. Police found Stapleton along with 30-year-old Bernardo Teul and 25-year-old Raphael Erebua. Now, under the new law, you might say they were allowed 10 grammes each, but that only counts when it’s a total of ten grammes or less. So there's no discounting the quantity for personal possession, meaning that in this case, the heavier charge of trafficking is used for 60 grammes and above. With that, all three were charged for drug trafficking.
