| And one of the main reasons that crime numbers aren't even higher is Operation ACT. Since it was launched in late October - crime in the city has taken a sharp downtown- after recording a record number of murders in that same month.
Today Commander of Operations Edward Broaster, said that ACT led to many firearms and drugs seizures along with thousands of searches:
As part of ACT, 12 persons have been arrested and charged with drug related offenses.
