Police told us more:

"The third murder was reported in Dangriga this morning. Sometime after three in the morning police visited the Havana club, which is located in the Havana area, Dangriga Town where they observed the motionless body of a Hispanic male person with a large cut wound to the neck. At this time the person is being called John Doe as no identity has been established. We do not know or have any information if he was a worker there or anything like that - up to this moment. That's all I can give you in regards to that murder there."

"Apparently, it's like a chop to the neck."

Since then the victim has been confirmed to be Miguel Angel Guerrero who is originally from San Pedro - but moved to Dangriga recently. Police believe he was fatally stabbed by someone he was socializing with, they are close to solving this murder. We'll keep following it.

There were 9 murders in January 2017 - this was the 15th for January 2018.
