That Tsunami scare earlier this month certainly shook up residents of coastal communities, and it also gave NEMO a serious wake-up call when it comes to disaster preparedness. Yesterday at the NEMO office in Sand hill, coordinators from out West and the Cayes met for their first Disaster planning meeting for 2018. Minister Edmond Castro says early and efficient planning is crucial.
This meeting will also be held with NEMO coordinators from the Northern and Southern Zones.
