| Belmopan Cops Caught Weedists In the Matrix |

Yesterday at around 6:45 pm, Belmopan Police were conducting an operation in Teakettle Village they saw a white Toyota Matrix parked on the side of the road.
A woman was sitting on the driver's side of the vehicle. It seemed suspicious, so Police searched the car and found 7 parcels of cannabis amounting to a total of 18 pounds.
29-year-old Ernest Almendarez and 22-year-old Brittany Hutchinson were both charged with drug trafficking.
Today the two appeared in court. Almendarez pled guilty and was fined $10,000 to be paid by December 30th while Hutchinson was granted a bail of $3000.
