This 2010 Hyundai Tucson with Cayo plates was stolen from Guatemala - and will be returned to its country of origin. That's what Belmopan police say after investigation led them to the vehicle which was registered in Punta Gorda. Interestingly, it is registered to a police officer - but it cannot be established that he knowingly bought a stolen vehicle.
The vehicle was brought into the country, fraudulently registered - and then sold on the market as legitimate.
