Cops Lead Schools to Farming
Tue, February 27, 2018
Community farming has become a reality in three Belmopan area schools - thanks to Belmopan police. With the sponsorship of the Taiwanese Embassy and the Ministry of Agriculture, the Methodist high school, Garden City primary and San Martin primary are all now growing their own vegetables.

The programme started just a few months ago. Belmopan police say it is a community safety issue since children who are well nourished and know how to grow basic foods are less likely to lapse into a life of crime.
