Teakettle Village may not be the typical setting for a major diplomatic tete-a-tete, but a resort in that western village is where the Belize - Guatemala Joint Commission met today.
According to an official release, the Commissioners of both countries, Ambassadors Alexis Rosado and Georges de La Roche, headed the meeting with Katalina Montana as the OAS representative.
They reviewed the earlier progress regarding the bilateral agreements signed in 2014 and agreed that the implementation of those long - languishing agreements will be accelerated. The Joint Commission will meet again in April 2018.
