Her Common-Law Allegedly Killed Mario Guerrero, Anna Bradley Has Her Side Of The Story
Tue, April 10, 2018
Two weeks ago, the name Anna BRADLEY came into the news after her common law husband, 40 year old Allen Felix was implicated in the murder of boat maker Mario Guerrero Sr.

Bradley's name came into the spotlight because she was at Guerrero's house the night he was killed. In fact she and Felix had been partying with him from early morning until dawn when he was bludgeoned with a barstool.

But, Ana Bradley was inside Guerrero's house when Felix allegedly killed him in the driveway. Still, her common law allegedly killed a man and she was right there. That guilt by association has been dogging her these past two weeks - and, today, fearing for her safety and that of the three children she shares with Felix, she came forward to say she's had nothing to do with the death of Mario Guerrero. Jules Vasquez asked her the tough questions in an extended interview:...

Jules Vasquez - Reporter
"You were one of the three persons who were at Mr. Guerrero's house the night he was beaten to death and killed. This implicates you by association. You were part of the crew who killed the man."

Anna Bradley - Common Law Wife of accused
"I need to let the community know, let the country know or even the world know because it has gone worldwide. I need to let everyone know that I was there but then again there are two sides to a story. And third, I am innocent. This is why I am here to speak the truth. I didn't expect any of that to happen. I was sad to know that it happened because I didn't even know that Mr. Guerrero had died."

Jules Vasquez
"You have not been charged but the person who has been charged is your partner. So, he is facing murder charges and there is security video of him viciously beating Mr. Guerrero and you were there."

Anna Bradley
"I was there but I didn't know. I was in bed sleeping. I fell asleep because we were intoxicated and when the incident happened it was the other young man that was with us, his name is Brian- he didn't know anything either, who, when he saw that, shook me in a frightening way and told me Ann: you need to get up, your man lose it, and told me to help him with this man. I didn't know anything because I was still intoxicated, I was very high. So, when I got up he was already gone, the young man had gone. And when I saw it I got frightened. I didn't know what to do, I was scared, I was tired and I was intoxicated so I couldn't do anything. I was endangering myself because the way he looked so angry I didn't even want him to strike me accidentally so I just went away."

Jules Vasquez
"But you witnessed a murder; the aftermath of a murder."

Anna Bradley
"No, I didn't witness the murder."

Jules Vasquez
"But you witnessed a man dead, Ann."

Anna Bradley
"No, I didn't witness the man dead because when that happened I went out as I saw the first strike because I pass and went away. So, I couldn't tell if the man was dead."

Jules Vasquez
"What were your intentions or your partner's intentions that night in terms of you all being out partying at Lion King, Princess, the home, were you aware that maybe they wanted to steal from Mr. Guerrero or have him hand over an amount of money?"

Anna Bradley
"We didn't have that in our mind any at all to steal from this man because we are not that kind of people. My gentleman is not that kind of person, he grew up in a very good home, his family lives in a very big house and I have my family. But something changed in him- a jealousy happened, that was what happened. So, I need to the public to know that it didn't happen because of a robbery because I didn't even see him rubbing down that man when they show me certain stuff and told me certain things. I said, robbery? we didn't have that in mind. I think he got ignorant about something that Mr. Guerrero did and he didn't like the fact that he did something and that was what caused that entire catastrophe."

Jules Vasquez
"Okay, I have to say it real Ann. You and Mr. Guerrero were seen in the security video walking into Princess like you were holding hands. Was this a part of what triggered that jealousy that night?"

Anna Bradley
"No, no because then we were all drinking and happy and we just didn't expect something like that. I thought we were all okay and well. He is an elderly man, I don't think he should get jealous of an elderly man. The way I see it is that the jealousy started at his house when I left them to drink and I went to sit down. And I guess that was where only he knows what happened between that time when I was sitting in my own corner that caused all of that incident."

Jules Vasquez
"Mr. Allen Felix hit Mr. Guerrero, the security video shows, dozens of times until the barstool broke. This is the father of three children. This is your man. You must have been able to tell him to stop."

Anna Bradley
"I couldn't say anything because I was tired, I was intoxicated and I was frightened. I didn't even know if anyone was in that house or anything so I couldn't do anything. I didn't know what to do. That is the reason I couldn't do anything. I didn't know how to even stop him. I don't even have enough strength. What if he turns on me and hits me too? And for what? Maybe because I am taking up for the man maybe he thinks I am playing with this man and that is not so. That is why that happened that way."

Jules Vasquez
"What would you want to say to those in the public who feel that okay, Ann was involved somehow in this? What would you say to those people out there?"

Anna Bradley
"Well, to the people I would like to say that I know a lot of people think differently from the story they heard. As me talking now maybe they think differently, I can't say but I am sorry for the loss of Mr. Guerrero. That is what I have to say to the family. But apart from the family, the people out there, there are so many people that know me, there are some people that don't know me, but there are so many people that know me and are telling me: Ann I know you are not like that. I say thank god for the people that do know me and I say I'm sad too for the people that don't. But I just want the public to know that I am innocent. I didn't know that was going to happen."

Bradley says she has only spoken to Felix by phone from jail. He remains on remand for murder - while she has moved out of their home in Sunset Park fearing for her safety.
