| Saturday night was big for a pair of Belizean Americans in very different fields. CNN's Evan Andres Perez and HBO Boxing's Jarrell "Big Baby" Miller took center stage in events in Washington, DC and Brooklyn, New York.
Perez was honoured at the White House Correspondent's Dinner for "presidential news coverage under deadline pressure." It was a black tie event snubbed by President Donald Trump - but that didn't dampen the applause for the CNN crew - which included Perez, who grew up in Belize City - with family from Sarteneja.
