Last night as they scrambled to contain any violence in response to the shooting, Police recovered a .380 pistol and arrested a man for it. 24 year old Nisani Daniel Garcia has been charged with kept unlicensed firearm and kept unlicensed ammunition. Police say that at 8:30 they responded to a shooting incident on Saint Jude's Street in the Back-A-Town area. They found Garcia stooping down at the back of the house, and then discovered a 380 Ruger pistol under a cement block about 10 feet from him. In court, Garcia pleaded not guilty to kept firearm and ammunition without a license. He was denied bail and remanded until July 12, 2018. |
