GSU Got A Gun While Responding To Shooting
Mon, May 7, 2018
The GSU has taken two more guns off the street. They found the first in an empty lot last night on Flamboyant St. in the St. Martin's area. It's silver CZ brand 9 millimeter pistol which was bundled up in a plastic bag.

Today at the bi-weekly police press conference, the cops say that they actually came upon it while responding to reports of a shooting in the area:

ASP Alejandro Cowo- OC, CIB
"Reference to shots fired in the Conch shell Bay area on Saturday, police quick response in that area led to the chase of a male person where police were able to apprehend that person somewhere in the vicinity of Vernon Street and as a result of a search conducted in the immediate area, police were able to find 9mm pistol loaded with 17 live rounds of ammunition. The person who was in the immediate area was a person by the name of Mr. Gentle. On the following day he was arrested and charge for kept firearm without a gun license and ammunition without a gun license."

Reporter
"Is it believe that this is the weapon that was used to fire those shots that police responded to?"

ASP Alejandro Cowo- OC, CIB
"Yes, that is what we suspected."

And then, this morning at 11:00 - they found this contraption on Tigris Street in the Mesopotamia area. It's a homemade shotgun which was stowed in an open lot through an alley. The very crudely designed weapon can break down into parts and can fire a shotgun cartridge.

And, on Saturday police found this nine millimeter pistol in the Conch Shell Bay area. It was found when police were responding to a shooting.
