A man was knocked down and killed by a hit and run driver on the San Estevan Road in the Orange Walk District last night. 51 year old Melito Macario Medina was walking home when he was hit from behind by an unknown vehicle which raced off.
Medina would walk daily from Orange Walk to Petville Area on the Honey Camp road where he lives. Police say it happened between 6:00 and 7:30.
