Tacos Vendor Robbed Of Her Day’s Earnings

A hard working tacos vendor had her daily earnings snatched by a ruthless robber yesterday. It happened near the entrance to Belize City around 10:00 am, on the road side at mile 2.5 on the Phillip Goldson Highway.

Police told us what happened:

"Miss Deysie Molina, a tacos vendor, while she was selling at her stall, she was approached by a male person who ordered some tacos. The male person left from the business and walk a little bit a head and then came back. When she went to offer him the tacos, he raised up his shirt and showed her what appeared to be a firearm and demanded that she hand over what she has. As a result she fearing for her life, she handed over $300 in cash. The make person ran and made good his escape."

"We are looking for a suspect that we believe can assist in the investigation, but up to now we have not established the direct identity of the person."

Police are looking for one suspect.
