| And what would trade be without a guide? In 2016 the Ministry launched an initiative to develop a National Trade Policy to give guidance as it relates to foreign trade strategies. Since then, they have been engaged in consultations with all major stakeholders. They have now finished their rounds with the public sector and are moving unto the private sector. Sutherland gave us a preview of how the first draft looks.
The National Trade Policy is scheduled to be launched later this year.
