Alleged Gas Station Robbers Get Bail
Fri, August 10, 2018
They were allegedly caught on camera during a brutal failed robbery at CP Gas, but tonight 19-year-old Kyle Perez and 20-year-old Tyrique Leon Swazo are out on bail.

Their bail application was heard this morning before Supreme Court justice Herbert Lord. Their attorney Dickie Bradley suggested to the court that the firearm used was a toy gun, but Justice Lord wanted to hear directly from the suspects as to why he should grant them bail.

Swazo said, quote, " The gun was a fake gun why you think the man fight back?" which, pretty much sounds like an admission of guilt.

Swazo said he has learnt a lesson and has prepare himself mentally to deal with life as he has now lost his job after going to jail on the attempted robbery.

There was no objection to bail form the DPP's office and both Swazo and Perez were offered bail of $10,000 each which they were able to meet today.

Both men were ordered to report to the Racoon Street Police Station three times a week, on Monday's, Wednesday's and Friday's, and they were also placed on 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. curfew.
