| 79 men and women have officially joined the coast guard. After an intense 12 weeks of training, there was a special graduation ceremony for these new recruits this morning. I dropped by to see them begin a new chapter of their lives as distinguished officers. Here is that story.
On a final note in coast guard news, there will be a Firearms and Security Expo tomorrow at the Hattieville Gallery range. There will also be the annual pistol competition among others. The public is invited to attend.
