Last week we told you about the shooting of ALGERNON Akeem LOPEZ - who was shot on Pen Road - in the midst of a very violent weekend. Well, police have charged the man who they say shot him. He is NIMROD FITZGIBBONS. The 26-year-old was taken to court today where he was charged with attempted murder before Senior Magistrate Aretha Ford. Fitzgibbon was remanded into custody until December 17.
While he was in court Fitzgibbon referred to an incident that occurred on June 10 in which he was shot his legs. He said a bullet is still in his right calf.
