As it relates to expenditure, Wagner says his PUP council has significantly cut expenses which he says was just wasteful spending on the part of his predecessors.

"They spend 406 thousand in operating cost; we spend 327 thousand, bringing it down by 19%. Maintenance cost, this is the cost where we maintain our machinery, maintain buildings and etc. 452 thousand, we cut that by half to 56% and despite my good friend the prime minister stating that pastor will christen his pickni first we still survive. We have still survived with not one copper from the government. The difference then between us and them is clear, night and day."
