Keeping Auditors Accountable

The Office of the Auditor General, are the arbiters of government service and in recent years their reports have drawn much scrutiny and occasionally controversy. As part of its plans to strengthen effective communication between staff as well as outwardly to the public, a three-day training on effective communication and report writing was held in Belmopan, facilitated by communications expert, Ms. Sarah MacFayden of the Canadian Audit and Accountability Foundation. We hear from the trainer as well as senior staff of the office on what they learned.
