Fri, December 7, 2018
On Tuesday's news, we told you how police were on the trail of the man they believe to be the shooter who senselessly killed 44 year-old Arthur "Tazzy" Williams. Tonight, 22 year-old Kentroy McKoy, the suspected gunman, is at the Belize Central Prison after he was taken to the Magistrate's Court today. McKoy is linked to the George Street area.

McKoy was arraigned before Senior Magistrate Aretha Ford on 1 count of murder. Due to the nature of the offenses, he couldn't be granted bail, and he was remanded into custody until February 20th of next year.

At around 3:00 on Monday afternoon Arthur Flowers was sitting on the corner of Handyside and Queen Streets, right across from his house where he washes cars. A gunman got out of a Dodge Neon who shot him in the right side of the head. That shooter then jumped into the waiting Neon which sped off.

Residents in the area told 7News that the shooter was looking for another man from the Majestic Alley Gang with whom he had beef. The shooter couldn't find that person, and so, he shot and killed Williams - who was an innocent bystander.
