Pou’s Shooters Remanded
Fri, March 8, 2019

Yesterday, police said that they were preparing charges for the persons who they believe were involved in last weekend’s shooting of Clinton Pou in Belize City. Well tonight, those men 18 year-old Criston Castillo, 19 year-old Glenford Hyde, and 18 year-old Raheem Faber are on remand at the Belize Central Prison.

Castillo, Hyde, and Faber, who are all from Belize City, were arraigned today in front of Magistrate Christine Perrera.  Castillo and Hyde were arraigned on the charge of attempted murder, and Faber was arraigned on the offense of abetment to murder. No plea was taken from all 3 men, and after consideration, Magistrate Perrera remanded them to the Belize Central Prison until May 7th, 2019.

As we reported, last Sunday evening, Pou was at his home on North Front Street when he was shot to his left hand and the left side of his chest as he lay in bed.

A witness reported seeing one of the gunmen darting down a lane.
