An alleged burglar was caught red handed in the Vista Del Mar area.
On the morning of May 9th, Police responded to a burglary in progress at mile 8 on the northern highway. When they got there, they saw Zane Pott riding out of Dennis Johnson's yard with a bag in his hand and a knapsack on his back.
The police stopped him at mile 5 and found a bunch of stolen times in the bags. The police were taking him to the Ladyville Police Station when one of Johnson's workers stopped them and said that Pott is the man he saw in his boss's yard. Pott was arrested and charged with burglary.
Johnson identified all of the stolen items as his property. They amounted to $920 dollars in value.
