Drought Developing in North

And while many areas in the north can be considered a bread-basket for Belizean agriculture the MET office reports that a short-term drought is developing over the Corozal, Orange walk and northern Belize districts. A rough monitoring report says that short-term drought is also possible over Western Cayo and Southern Stann Creek/Northern Toledo districts near Savannah. The areas in orange show those parts of the country where there is a drought warning. The areas in green have no drought, while yellow is under warning.
