If you watch the news with any regularity, you’ll know that the Statistical Institute of Belize is all about information, from the country’s GDP, to the average pay of the average worker.

But, with the support of the IDB, they are going even deeper, to create a platform for open information, through the launch of the Belize National Statistical System Portal and the reloaded SIB Website.  

It’s part of a national statistical system with great ambitions.  We found out more at the launch - which was held at the Radisson this morning:..
