There was an accident on Sunday in the Corozal Free Zone. It happened at about 3:40 p.m., when 46 year old Belizean Sergio Mesh of Libertad Village, was reversing his Mazda pick-up that was parked in front Laxmi Micheladas Store. In the process he allegedly collided into the front of a Volkswagen Vento car that was being driven by a Mexican from Chetumal traveling on the Free Zone Main Road.
After hitting the Volkswagen, Mesh lurched over a sidewalk and hit Mariseli Chable a 19-year-old, Belizean sales Clerk, also of Libertad.
After hitting Chable, Mesh allegedly hit a Grey Mitsubishi SUV, that was parked in front of Laxmi Micheladas Store. The pick-up also collided into a glass counter inside the store which hit a 33-year-old, shop keeper of a Corozal address,
